“Gender shapes the cancer care a woman receives, from whether her symptoms are taken seriously to whether she has a say in decisions about her own health.
This year, over 100 people across León, Nairobi and Tbilisi joined a masterclass developed by C/Can and the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) to explore exactly that, and lay the foundations for future communities of practice on gender-responsive cancer control.”
