City Cancer Challenge shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Since 2023, the implementation of the World Health Organization (WHO) Global Breast Cancer Initiative (GBCI) in C/Can cities has trained over 450 healthcare professionals, engaged 60 institutions, and developed four Breast Cancer Action Plans in Tbilisi, Kumasi, Cali, and Phnom Penh. These achievements were made possible through a bold and forward-looking partnership model that brought together organisations from diverse sectors.
At hashtag WHA79, we’re celebrating that progress and announcing how we’re scaling it: new cities, new health systems, and new partners, to reach more women who need better breast cancer care.
Join us in Geneva on 18 May. Spaces are limited.
