Chrystal Paulos: Honored to Speak at the 2026 Ross Prize in Molecular Medicine Symposium

Chrystal Paulos, Professor and Co-leader of the Cancer Immunology Program at Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University, shared a post on LinkedIn:

“Honored to speak at the 2026 Ross Prize in Molecular Medicine Symposium celebrating the extraordinary contributions of Drs. Carl June and Michel Sadelain to the field of cellular immunotherapy.

Years ago, I had the privilege of training as a postdoctoral fellow in Carl’s laboratory (Carl June) during the early days of adoptive T cell therapy. Carl’s wisdom in advancing medicine through innovative and bold science is remarkable. Watching the field evolve from bold experimental concepts into life-saving therapies for patients with cancer has been remarkable.

I’m excited to share our team’s recent work focused on engineering more durable and effective T cell therapies for solid tumors, including approaches centered on CD8 T cell memory, the unexpected roles of T helper biology, and long-term antitumor immunity.
Grateful for the invitation and looking forward to celebrating the progress of this field alongside so many outstanding scientists and physicians.

2026 Ross Prize Symposium.”
