Chrystal Paulos, Professor and Co-leader of the Cancer Immunology Program at Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Honored to be speaking today at the University of Pittsburgh Immunology Seminar Series and especially proud to highlight outstanding new work from Dr. Ayana Ruffin from our lab.
Ayana trained at Pitt with Dr. Tullia Bruno during her PhD and is now leading exciting studies in my lab uncovering how T cells collaborate with B cells to strengthen antitumor immunity. Watching her bring ideas full circle back to the community where she trained makes this visit extra meaningful.
She is a thoughtful scientist, a generous mentor, and someone whose work is helping reshape how we think about cellular immunotherapy for solid tumors. I’m grateful to share the stage with her science today.
Thank you to Tullia and Abby Overacre-Delgoffe and the Pitt Immunology community for the invitation and warm welcome.”
