“Powerful talk today from Dr. Gregory Lesinski at Immunotherapy Bridge meeting in Naples. He unveiled striking new findings from his Cancer Research paper in press—one of the first high-dimensional CyTOF immune maps comparing primary and metastatic PDAC at the protein level. Data showing the metastatic PDAC microenvironment is a different beast, and far more hostile to T cells than we’ve appreciated.
Also a first look (unpublished) at his team’s clinical experience combining IL-6 blockade with PD-1 inhibition in PDAC patients. Important direction for a cancer that urgently needs new ideas.”
