“At the start of summer, did you know that 5 time Grammy award winning singer/songwriter Donna Summer– the ‘Queen of Disco’ and Grammy lifetime achievement award winner – passed from lung cancer? She was a never smoker, diagnosed in July 2011, and she passed away ~1 year later.
This amazing event – sponsored by her manager turned sister Susan Munao together with Lung Cancer Research Foundation honored her legacy and raised funds to support lung cancer research. Susan is a fierce advocate and friend. Look for more lung cancer events to be organized by her in the future!
