“The world of cancer medicine and cancer research is exploding (in a good way)!
It was amazing and humbling to see so many advances and so much innovation at the American Association for Cancer Research Annual Meeting this week. And to be able to learn alongside colleagues/friends who are brilliant, funny, and fiercely dedicated makes it even better!
2026 was the year that:
- Pancreas cancer took the main stage.
- AI was foundational, not aspirational.
- Trainees showed up and showed off their amazing work, acknowledging our funding challenges over 2025 but deterred nonetheless.
