Christine Lee Flemming, Formal FDA OMHHE Deputy Office Director at FDA, shared on LinkedIn:
”I am deeply honored to serve as First Vice Chair of the Maryland Commission for Women and to support the Commission’s mission to advance the rights, opportunities, health, safety, and economic well-being of women across our state.
I’m proud to share that the Commission’s 2026 Legislative Session Report on Women’s Issues is now available. The report highlights more than 35 newly passed bills advancing gender equity and serves as an important resource for understanding the legislative changes that will impact Maryland women, families, employers, and communities.
This work reflects the dedication of so many commissioners, legislators, advocates, coalition partners, and community members who came together to create meaningful change. I am grateful to serve alongside such an inspiring group of leaders and look forward to continuing this important work.
