Christian Ntizimira, Executive Director of ACREOL, shared on LinkedIn:
“Throwback to Barcelona!
A meaningful moment with ‘The Lancet Commission on Respiratory Medicine and Palliative Care,’ as commissioners came together in Barcelona to review progress, exchange perspectives, and shape the next phase of this important work.
Respiratory diseases affect millions of people worldwide, often bringing complex symptoms, serious illness, and significant suffering for patients and families.
Integrating palliative care into respiratory medicine is essential to improving symptom management, quality of life, communication, and person-centered care throughout illness.
Great conversations, new strategies, and a shared commitment to moving The Lancet Commission forward.
Special thanks to Billy Rosa, and Don Sullivan, for their leadership, tremendous work, and the opportunity to contribute to this important global effort.”
