Christian Ntizimira: Spanish Edition of The Safari Concept Sold Out in 10 Minutes at São Paulo Conference

Christian Ntizimira, Executive Director of ACREOL and Faculty member of the Palliative Care Centre for Excellence in Research and Education (PalC), Singapore, shared a post on LinkedIn:

“Unbelievable Moment: From Launch to Sold Out in 10 Minutes.

Throwback to an important milestone for The Safari Concept.

The Spanish edition was launched successfully at the XII Latin American Palliative Care Conference in São Paulo, Brazil, and all copies were sold out within 10 minutes.

This remarkable reception demonstrated the growing interest in culturally relevant and compassionate approaches to palliative care across Latin America. The Safari Concept was written to contribute to a broader conversation on dignity, empathy, communication, and person-centered care at the end of life.

To witness such immediate engagement from professionals, advocates, and conference participants was deeply encouraging.

This achievement was not only about a sold-out launch. It was about the strength of a shared vision: advancing Хэштег#palliative care in ways that are locally meaningful, socially responsive, and grounded in human connection.

Grateful to Maria and Mary Guevara from ecancer, ecancer medical science, for supporting and creating our talk to present on the experiences of  Rwanda, Tania Pastrana for introducing me to the Latina-america music, and Dr. Daniel Forte for the warm welcome in brazil.

Thank you to all colleagues, readers, and supporters who made this moment possible. I remain grateful for how this launch helped expand the conversation on palliative care across languages, cultures, and communities.”
