Chinenye Iwuji: Bringing Healthcare Closer to the People, That’s Where Real Impact Happens

Chinenye Iwuji, Head of Medical Oncology at Lakeshore Cancer Center, shared a post on LinkedIn:

“Bringing healthcare closer to the people, that’s where real impact happens.

And it’s even more powerful when communities show up for themselves and each other.

Our Foundation for Cancer Care is excited to partner with ANPA for a Breast Cancer Screening Outreach in Owerri on April 13–14, focused on making early detection simple, accessible, and free.

Ahead of the screenings, there will also be a Breast Cancer Health Talk on April 11, an opportunity to learn more about prevention, early signs, and when to seek care.

Here’s what this outreach offers:

  •  Free clinical breast examinations
  •  Mammography (where indicated)
  •  An opportunity to take charge of your health and encourage someone else to do the same

Early detection saves lives. Sometimes, one simple check can make all the difference.

If you’re in Owerri, or you know someone who is, please share this. Let’s help more women access timely, potentially life-saving care.

Date: April 13–14, 2026
Time: 9:00 AM
Location: Owerri, Nigeria
Health Talk: April 11, 2026

Let’s spread the word and make this outreach truly impactful.”
