Children’s Cancer Institute shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Children’s Cancer Institute was proudly represented by three of our researchers at the Society for Neuro-Oncology (SNO) meeting – the largest international conference on brain cancer – in Hawaii in November.
David Lawrence, Holly Holliday and Afraah Cassim presented their latest research into the biology and treatment of Diffuse Midline Glioma. They shared new mechanistic insights into how these aggressive tumours are driven at the epigenetic level, as well as promising preclinical studies exploring novel therapeutic strategies. Their work aims to uncover tumour vulnerabilities that can be leveraged for future treatment development.
Congratulations to the three brilliant scientists for presenting your research on the world-stage.”
