“ACT 4 Children is a multi-stakeholder initiative uniting hospitals, industry, clinicians, and patient advocates to expand access to innovative childhood cancer medicines in low- and middle-income countries.
Childhood Cancer International is an official partner of ACT for Children, working together to improve childhood cancer outcomes in low- and middle-income countries. While ACT for Children focuses on expanding access to quality-assured medicines and strengthening medical care, CCI brings the voice of families and survivors to the centre. This collaboration unites medical, social, and advocacy efforts — creating a more equitable, people-centred approach to childhood cancer care worldwide.
Built on a hospital-centered model, ACT focuses on three pillars:
- Access to quality-assured medicines
- Expert medical management
- Patient-centered supportive care
ACT strengthens the full continuum of care and co-develops locally adapted, sustainable solutions with hospitals — helping build the systems needed to deliver lifesaving treatment.
