Charles Roberts: How Far We Still Have to Go in Pediatric Cancer

Charles Roberts, Cancer Center Director and Executive Vice – President at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, shared a post on LinkedIn:

“For International Childhood Cancer Day, I am honoring Avalanna, a dear patient of mine, who lost her life to atypical teratoid/rhabdoid tumor (ATRT).  She remains a constant reminder of how far we still have to go in the treatment of pediatric cancers. Avalanna and other children facing cancer inspire our work in pursuing emerging technologies that should enable us to find more cures and save more children than ever before.”
