Charles Gaulin, Associate Program Director of the Hematology and Medical Oncology Fellowship Program and Hematologic Oncologist at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, shared on LinkedIn:
“We are thrilled to officially open the doors to our brand-new Cellular Therapy Unit at Dartmouth Cancer Center.
This state-of-the-art expansion significantly broadens our capacity to deliver cutting-edge immune effector cell therapies, stem cell transplants, and specialized hematologic care right here in Northern New England.
This unit adds 32 new dedicated inpatient beds designed for advanced monitoring, comfort, and specialized acute care.
Within the unit, we also have 6 dedicated outpatient cellular therapy infusion chairs to streamline delivery of CAR-T, bispecific antibodies, and novel clinical trial therapies in a modern, patient-centered setting.
Expanding physical infrastructure is essential for the future, but what truly makes this space exceptional is our multidisciplinary team-our extraordinary nurses, advanced practice providers, clinical trial coordinators, pharmacists, and staff who bring world-class, compassionate care to our region.”
