“The IARC60 meeting in Lyon, France was a fabulous opportunity to meet colleagues, exchange experiences, and learn about how cancer prevention, early detection and epidemiology trends are happening throughout the world.
The diversity of issues, challenges, and applications were revealing. I came away with the profound understanding that while strategy is global, application is local!
It was a joy to see so many fellow officers of ISOPT – International Society of Oncology Prevention and Treatments, including Hesham ElGhazaly, Miriam Mutebi, Groesbeck Parham, Cesaltina Lorenzoni and Han-Kwang Yang.”
