Champalimaud Foundation shared a post on LinkedIn:

“A team at the Champalimaud Clinical Centre performed the first robotic mastectomy in the country carried out by Portuguese surgeons, within the framework of the newly launched Program for Minimally Invasive Robotic and Endoscopic Breast Surgery, an initiative developed by the Champalimaud Foundation as part of the surgical treatment options offered to selected breast cancer patients.

  • An important step towards more personalised, patient-centred care.
