Cesar Perez: A Multicenter, Randomized Study of Becotatug Vedotin in NPC

Cesar Perez, Director of Drug Development at Lake Nona DDU of Florida Cancer Specialists and Research Institute, shared Annals of Oncology’s post on LinkedIn, adding:

ADCs continue to make their mark in head and neck oncology.

Becotatug Vedotin (anti-EGFR ADC) in heavily pretreated recurrent/metastatic NPC after chemotherapy plus PD-1/PD-L1 failure:

  • n=173 randomized
  • ORR: 30.2% vs 11.5% (chemo)
  • PFS: 5.82 vs 2.83 months (HR 0.63)
  • OS: 17.1 vs 12.0 months (HR 0.73, immature)

A meaningful signal in a population with few effective options. The ADC era in H&N cancer is accelerating.”
