Cecilia de Leeuw: Three Years of Growth at C-RAD

Cecilia de Leeuw, Non Executive Board Member at Net Insight, shared a post on LinkedIn:

“After an amazing three years with C-RAD AB, it is now time for me to move on. It has been such a pleasure working with my amazing colleagues, together we built a more resilient and financially stronger company. C-RAD has an important job to do – being part of improving cancer care on a global scale and making a real difference in people’s lives. It has been an honour to grow the company together with my team and deliver strong profitability quarter-by-quarter. This strong final quarter is a true reflection of the fantastic work that the whole team has performed.

I am truly proud of what the C-RAD team has achieved during this period.  It has been my priority throughout my time with C-RAD, to empower the whole organisation so that every member of the team has been able to contribute to the company’s success… and it’s been an exciting journey.

In collaboration with our distributors and industry partners, throughout 57 countries, we have improved resilience and bolstered our position as a leader in Surface Guided Radiation Therapy (SGRT). We have achieved this through both a stronger and broader market presence as well as a strengthened total offering. A revenue growth of more than 70 percent in our Services business in the last three years is an example of this. One factor to our growth has been our market leading product offering. To accelerate this, I took the strategic decision to create a company-wide program to focus even more on product innovation and development. Establishing the new role of Chief Product Officer (CPO) was part of this process.

Countless other initiatives have been implemented to build the company, and a clear sign of this increased maturity was the launching of external financial targets in May of this year.

I will cherish the many fond memories from these years. I have had the privilege to meet with and build strong customer relationships with many hospitals and clinics around the world, participate in industry tradeshows, and much more. You will see a few glimpses in the pictures below.

I’m excited to keep following C-RAD’s continued successes, innovation, and growth. C-RAD will now be in the hands of my very capable and trusted colleagues Linda Eixmann Frölén, acting CEO and CFO, Johan Danielsson, deputy CEO and VP Services, as well as board member Peter Simonsbacka.

I was deeply touched at my farewell gatherings last week. I must say that the warmth and appreciation, shown both at the Uppsala office and with the global team online, was truly heartwarming. I have never received so many thoughtful messages and kind words about our achievements as a team – it has been an honour to lead you.

Finally, my heartfelt thanks to our customers, partners, shareholders, the board, and of course the brilliant C-RAD team.

It’s been a fantastic three years, and it is now time for me to take some time off with the family before moving on to new adventures.”
