Catherine Alix-Panabières, Director of the Laboratory of Rare Human Circulating Cells and Professor of Universities – Hospital Practitioner at Montpellier University Hospital, shared a post on LinkedIn:
”After an amazing day at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, I had the pleasure of joining fellow speakers and participants for the Speaker Dinner of the 7th Annual Global Cancer Consortium Conference at the iconic SPAM Museum in Austin, Minnesota.
It was a wonderful opportunity to meet outstanding researchers and clinicians from across the United States in such a unique and memorable setting. I spent a relaxing and enjoyable evening with Eric Rahrmann and Katherine Wickham Rahrmann, as well as Kaylee Schwertfeger, exchanging ideas and discussing our shared passion for advancing Cancer Research.
One of the highlights of the evening was the unexpected honor of meeting Steve King, the Mayor of Austin, and his wife Shelley.
I was delighted to receive a very special gift from him:
The Key to the City of Austin, featuring the beautiful green tree logo that symbolizes the city.
A memorable moment of friendship, discovery, and scientific exchange before the start of what promises to be an outstanding conference on metastasis research.
Looking forward to the exciting discussions and collaborations ahead!”
