Catherine Alix-Panabières: Honored to Join the Collège of the French National Academy of Medicine

Catherine Alix-Panabières, Director of the Laboratory of Rare Human Circulating Cells and Professor of Universities – Hospital Practitioner at Montpellier University Hospital, shared a post on LinkedIn:

“I am very honored to join the Collège de l’ACADEMIE NATIONALE DE MEDECINE DE FRANCE.

I would like to thank very warmly Prof. Catherine Barthélémy, the first woman President of the Academy and at the origin of the creation of this College, Prof. JEAN NOEL FIESSINGER, President of the Academy, Prof. Christian Boitard, Permanent Secretary, Prof. Jacques Belghiti, Deputy Permanent Secretary, as well as Prof. Bertrand and Prof. Yves Juillet, for the trust they have placed in me.

Joining such an emblematic institution is a great honour and a responsibility that I approach with humility, in line with my commitment to the service of health.

This appointment takes on a special meaning in my eyes because of the human and scientific quality of the sisters and brothers with whom I am fortunate to sit. Their high standards, their commitment and, for many, their friendship, are the strength and uniqueness of this College:
Pauline MARTINOT, MD. PhD., Etienne Ruppé, Boris Chaumette, Marie Carbonnel, Anne Sauvaget, Céline Greco, Alexandre Loupy, Antoine Guillon, Laurent SALOMON, Hafid Ait-Oufella, Elsa Angelini, Caroline Apra, Justine Bacchetta, Alexandre Belot, Vivien Béziat, Frédéric Blanc, Guillaume Canaud, Barbara Casolla, Philippe Charlier, Charlotte Cordonnier, David Fuks, Astrid Herrero, Nicole KARAM, Alexandre Valée, Camille Le Ray, Marine-Alexia LEFEVRE, Sébastien Lustig, Matthieu Mahévas, Eloi Marijon, MD, Olaf Mercier, Jean-Arthur Micoulaud Franchi, Pierre-Emmanuel Rautou, Stéphane Renaud, Mathilde Ruggiu-Goirand, Olivier Thaunat, Marion Alcantara and Christel Thauvin.
