Earlier, I shared the exciting news of receiving the Outstanding Community Engagement Award from the Pan-African PGS Education and Research Initiative (PAPERI) during the Voices of Genomics Challenge 2026. Today, I am honored to share the official Certificate of Recognition that accompanies this milestone.
This recognition is more than a personal achievement. It represents the power of community engagement, health advocacy, scientific communication, and collaborative leadership across Africa. It reinforces my belief that meaningful change begins when we intentionally connect knowledge with people, research with communities, and leadership with service.
As a nurse, health advocate, and community leader, I remain committed to advancing health equity, and empowering communities through education and advocacy.
The future of healthcare in Africa will be shaped not only by groundbreaking research but by leaders who ensure that knowledge reaches every community where it is needed most.
