“Today, we had the privilege of having morning tea with Fiji’s First Lady, Madam Emily Lalabalavu at the State House.
During the meeting, we discussed the burden of cervical cancer in Fiji and the challenges many women face in accessing screening and care.
We also highlighted the unique opportunity to eliminate this disease and discussed strengths within our communities that can help make this vision a reality.
We greatly admire her dedication to and advocacy for women’s health, and we feel truly honoured to have had the opportunity to share these important conversations with her.”
