“At our recent CancerX Assembly hosted by AstraZeneca, we brought together leaders from across health systems, life sciences, startups, government, and patient advocacy to do exactly that.
From AstraZeneca’s keynote on advancing oncology innovation and collaboration, to candid conversations on patient-centered innovation, to leadership discussions on priority areas and partnership opportunities, the focus was clear: move beyond ideas and toward scalable, real-world impact.
We were proud to spotlight startups from the 2026 CancerX Accelerator cohort, demonstrating how validation, partnership, and ecosystem support can accelerate solutions from concept to care.
The day continued with curated 1:1 meetings and working sessions with AstraZeneca, CancerX, and ASTP leaders, exploring how public – private collaboration can unlock translational pathways and bring innovation closer to patients.
And as always, the most important outcomes happened in the moments between: new connections, shared priorities, and the foundation for what comes next.
