CancerWorld  shared on LinkedIn:

“Surviving cancer should give you your future back – not limit where you can live it.

Diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma at 24, Carmen Monge – Montero went on to study, work, and build a life across eight countries.

But crossing borders exposed a hidden reality: survivorship care does not always travel with the survivor. From insurance barriers to fragmented follow-up and inaccessible support, Carmen sometimes found survivorship harder to navigate than cancer treatment itself.

Her story raises a question that matters for a generation living increasingly global lives:

Should surviving cancer limit where you can build your future?

‘Survivorship should not stop at national borders.’ “
