Over 16 years, Dr. Adams has transformed the UICC into a global leader in cancer control: growing membership from 350 → 1,000+, restructuring governance, launching initiatives like the World Cancer Leaders’ Summit, City Cancer Challenge, The NCD Alliance, ATOM Coalition, and the McCabe Centre for Law on Cancer, and building a culture of collaboration that spans governments, NGOs, and communities.
