For many children fighting cancer in Africa, a safe place to stay can mean the difference between life and death.

Families travel hundreds of miles seeking treatment, often sleeping on hospital benches or giving up altogether because they can’t afford accommodation or transport.

But heroes like Catherine Wambugu, founder of Hope & Courage International in Kenya, are changing that. Her hostel offers free shelter, meals, and transport to families whose children are battling cancer – giving them not just a bed, but hope.
