European Cancer Organisation (ECO) shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Discover this new project working to ensure that all Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA) cancer survivors can enjoy a true quality of life after treatment.
The project will:
- Develop European guidelines for AYA Survivorship Care
- Create tools and peer networks to support survivors and healthcare professionals
- Pilot an innovative screening programme in 11 countries
- Build momentum for policy change and sustainable adoption of best practices
ECO will be supporting the project by driving stakeholder engagement, collaborating with other EU-funded projects, and working with policymakers to raise awareness of AYA survivorship needs. We’ll also be contributing to communication, advocacy, and the sustainable roll-out of the AYA Cancer Survivor Screening Programme across Europe.
