Jacob (J.J.) Singleton, Colorectal Cancer Survivor, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Cancer screening is the most important thing you can do.
It doesn’t matter what the test is blood work Dr appointment prostate exam mammogram or colonoscopy and all in-between
Screening saves lives and we have to continue to fight for more education more access and continue to break down barriers that cause people to not get screened
It’s that time another colonoscopy/endoscopy yes continued screenings are a huge part of my life due to young age I got diagnosed and lynch syndrome I live with they are a huge part of my cancer care and supportive care.
It’s been a hard week no matter the amount of times I’ve had treatment or colonoscopy or procedures it impacts me. The fear the dread the worry the depression the isolation the anger the exhaustion and more flood me it’s a lot to constantly go through, but no matter what let’s do this.”
