It was a pleasure to discuss the importance of federal cancer research funding and the incredible progress we’ve made, saving 18 million lives in the US over the last 50 years.
Federal funding cutbacks threaten to undermine decades of progress and slow the pace of the next breakthroughs in the fight against cancer.
As I said on the show, funding cancer research isn’t a luxury – it’s a necessity!
