Cancer Institute NSW shared on LinkedIn.
“As a Program Support Officer in Cancer Institute NSW’s Screening and Prevention Division, Rachel Seo aims to ensure more people get screened.
“Currently, I am working on developing some assets in various languages for refugee communities, as well as working on providing cervical screening training for healthcare professionals”, Rachel said.
This Women’s Health Week it’s an important reminder that a Cervical Screening Test every 5 years is the best way to prevent cervical cancer. It’s quick and simple, but extremely effective at detecting the Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) to prevent cervical cancer from developing.
More than 1 in 3 women and people with a cervix in Australia are currently overdue for a test, but we can play a role in changing this.
