”Graham was diagnosed with sarcoma in 2002 after discovering a lump in his left gluteus maximus.
His treatment was urgent and included a biopsy, six cycles of chemotherapy, and surgery. More than two decades later, Graham continues to focus on living well, staying positive, and managing the long-term effects of his treatment.
Stories like Graham’s highlight the importance of early diagnosis, access to treatment and ongoing support for people living with and beyond sarcoma.
This Sarcoma Awareness Month, we’re recognizing the approximately 2,400 people diagnosed with sarcoma in Australia each year.
