Cancer Institute NSW shared a post on LinkedIn:
“A new national research collaboration has launched to improve outcomes in communities disproportionately impacted by cancer.
The Australian Centre for Cancer Equity (AcCE), a partnership between Cancer Institute NSW, Ingham Institute for Applied Medical Research and South Western Sydney Local Health District, aims to address disparities in cancer outcomes for Aboriginal people, culturally and linguistically diverse communities, people living in regional and remote areas, and socioeconomically disadvantaged people.
Using data-driven insights, this framework can drive equitable access to cancer care and prevention programs, as well as enhancing clinical trial and research participation.”
