“Today marked the inaugural Cancer Research Fellowships Victoria Showcase at Parliament House, celebrating the 2026 Fellowship recipients.

We heard from Todd Harper, Dr Laura Porter, Associate Professor Michelle Peate, Associate Professor Pouya Faridi, and Mary-Anne Thomas MP, who discussed:

  • The vital role of consumers in shaping research
  • How the Fellowships have transformed their careers and research impact
  • Emerging technologies and AI in cancer research
  • Their vision for cancer research over the next 10–20 years

Investment in people creates lasting impact, thank you to the Victorian Department of Health for partnering with us to make this milestone event possible.
