CANCaRe Africa shared a post on LinkedIn:
“June is Cancer Survivors Month.
Childhood cancer survivors need ongoing psychological and financial support to successfully reintegrate into their communities. The journey does not end when treatment ends. Survivorship comes with its own challenges.
This month, we listened to the inspiring stories of childhood cancer survivors, stories that continue to encourage families of children currently undergoing cancer treatment. Their experiences remind us that there is hope beyond a diagnosis and life beyond treatment.
As Cancer Survivors month comes to a close, let us continue to stand with childhood cancer survivors and their families. Together, we can ensure that every survivor is supported and empowered.”
