“Zero abandonment from start to finish, Collaboration post 16 Patient follow up.
Patient follow-up is essential in securing the quality of local evidence generated from the data collected. The Zero Abandonment Program enforces consistent and active follow-up of patients at the sites in this regard.
Branchard Mushabe, the data manager for the project at Mbarara Regional Referral Hospital, had this to say: ‘We prioritize follow-up of our patients to find out how they are doing and also build mature data that can contribute to policy development aimed at reducing treatment abandonment.'”
