A diagnosis of childhood cancer is devastating for families, especially in Sub-Saharan Africa, where limited resources, long distances and financial burdens too often force parents to abandon treatment.
By easing the financial and logistical burdens, we dramatically lower the risk of treatment abandonment and by collecting real, local data on what works, we build a solid foundation for policies and practices that can be scaled across the region, giving all children the best possible chance of survival.”
