Camilla Magnusson Reflects on 4 Meaningful Years at Paxman Scalp Cooling

Camilla Magnusson, Former Regional Manager at PAXMAN, shared a post on LinkedIn:

“Working with a product that improves the quality of life for cancer patient has been one of the most meaningful things I’ve done.

I have seen the potential, heard the patient stories and felt the commitment – but also the challenges Swedish healthcare is facing with record-long care queues that put an end to new and existing methods.

Today, we are well aware of the patient’s desire for a faster return to the “new normal”.
That rehabilitation and increased quality of life can be the shortcut back to work and social contexts.

After more than four rewarding years, I now leave Paxman Scalp Cooling with pride and conviction that what we have done has come a long way. Gratitude for research that has shown the way forward.
That the fight for patients’ right to increased quality of life is greater than just a single assignment.

Many thanks to all the fantastic nurses, doctors, associations and associations for inspiring collaborations.
Your commitment, competence and responsiveness to patients are invaluable, inside and outside the framework of the system to make a difference for those who need it most.

Thank you to Richard Paxman OBE, Claire Paxman, Glenn Paxman and all colleagues around the world.

Thank you Susanne Dieroff Hay, Marit Jenset, Lotta Lundvall, Alexandra Uusimäki, Izabela Grape, Renske Altena Kornalijnslijper, Henrik Lindman, Katja Norberg, Pia Bothén Watkinson, Ulrika Nyberg, Magnus Klang, Margareta Haag, Lotta Våde, Erik and Sofia on CancerMentor, Adrian Pogacian to name a few.
