“Great congrats to IMS-IMWG for the successful Workshop on “Smoldering Multiple Myeloma” in Amsterdam, Netherlands this past weekend! It was fun being part of the faculty. Many creative discussions on new biology insights in smoldering multiple myeloma, emerging data to support new endpoints, optimal treatment strategies including the recent FDA and EMA approvals for high-risk smoldering multiple myeloma, future clinical trial designs, and much more!
The workshop is a perfect model: having many world experts spending time together in-person for 48 hours, to address gaps in the field and to discuss needs and opportunities.
