“It was my pleasure to have a talk at the summit “How I Treat Cervical Cancer in 2026”, organized by the leading virtual oncology platform OncoDaily with experts of the field as part of the European Week for the Prevention of Cervical Cancer. My presentation highlighted the current landscape of cervical cancer in Kosovo, with a short analysis of HPV vaccination uptake, screening performance, and treatment practices.
The summit served as a forum for dialogue on key issues related to the prevention and management of this disease, including HPV vaccination, the challenges of the National Screening Programs, and the implementation of clinical algorithms for the effective treatment of precancerous lesions.
