Bruna Pellini, Chief of Thoracic Oncology at Miami Cancer Institute, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“In 2019, I began my research journey in liquid biopsies in Aadel Chaudhuri‘s lab. At that time, I was focused on learning, building, and understanding how much this field could change the way we care for patients. If someone had told me then that 7 years later I would be serving as the Chair of the Education Committee of ISLB, I would have had a hard time believing it.
Today, I feel deeply honored to take on this role with the International Society of Liquid Biopsy. I am especially proud to share this work with my co-chair, Jordi Remon. Together, we are developing projects aimed at expanding education in liquid biopsies across different settings and regions, with the hope of making knowledge more accessible across the globe.
This field has grown quickly, and so has the need for thoughtful, practical, and high-quality education. I am grateful for the opportunity to contribute in this way, and I look forward to the work ahead over the next four years.”
