Brittany Ragon: Growth, Confidence, and Community Through ASCO Leadership Development Program

Brittany Ragon, Associate Professor at Wake Forest University School of Medicine, shared a post on LinkedIn:

“Reflecting on this transformative year in the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Leadership Development Program, I am struck by its impact. I entered the program expecting that one of its greatest benefits would be the network and sense of community I would gain from my cohort, and that expectation was certainly met. These individuals have become cherished friends and trusted collaborators, giving me a true sense of belonging within ASCO.

What I did not anticipate, however, was how profoundly the experience would shape my confidence. I now feel more assured in my identity as a leader in our field. Thanks to the guidance of our coaches (Nasser Hanna, Merry Jennifer Markham, Piyush Srivastava, and Sumanta Pal) and the LDP experience, I leave with a stronger belief in my own potential and what I can contribute moving forward.”
