Brittany Candies Parker Kerrigan, Director of Strategic Operations, Dana-Farber Pediatric Low-Grade Glioma Program shared a post on LinkedIn:
“What an incredible experience it was to help organize the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute Pediatric Low-Grade Glioma Program’s ‘Science at the Park‘ event at Fenway Park on Saturday, April 4.
This special event brought together more than 200 families, advocates, clinicians, scientists, and program leadership for an afternoon centered on connection, learning, and community within the pediatric brain cancer space.
Guests enjoyed hands-on science activities and an interactive raffle, which was a huge hit with the kids. The day also featured some unforgettable highlights, including a special appearance by Red Sox mascot Wally, and a chance to take photos with the Red Sox World Series trophy.
Most importantly, the event created a wonderful sense of community, bringing families and supporters together with the clinicians, researchers, and leaders dedicated to advancing care and discovery for pediatric glioma patients.
Thank you to the Red Sox and Fenway Park for having us, and to everyone who helped make the 2026 Science at the Park such a meaningful and memorable event!”
