€100,000 Endowment Supports IMMUNO-LUNG Project at Institut Paoli-Calmettes – Bristol Myers Squibb

Bristol Myers Squibb posted on LinkedIn:

“Today, the collective mobilization generated by Inspire For Cancer is becoming a reality.

In Marseille, Jehan-Michel Behier, Jerome Garnier and Frederique SAAS officialized, on behalf of Bristol Myers Squibb France, the provision of an endowment of €100,000 to support research work carried out at the Institut Paoli-Calmettes on lung cancer, in the presence of Prof. Norbert VEY and the research teams.

This support materializes the commitment made in the context of Inspire For CANCER: to donate 10 cents per interaction on social networks, up to 100,000 euros, to support the joint research program of the Institut Paoli-Calmettes and the APHM (Assistance Publique – Hopitaux de Marseille).

Goal exceeded!

Thanks to everyone’s mobilization, more than a million interactions were generated. This is strong proof of the interest in this educational and artistic event dedicated to the prevention and advances of science against lung cancer.

We are proud to support Dr. Philippe Rochigneux ‘s research project: Essential work to better understand the immune response in lung cancer and to advance increasingly personalized therapeutic approaches, particularly in immunotherapy.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to the success of Inspire For CANCER:
• The patient association Patients en Réseau /Mon Réseau Cancer du lung, Laure Guéroult Accolas, Michael Wingler
• The Institut Paoli-Calmettes and APHM (Assistance Publique – Hopitaux de Marseille) for their trust and collaboration, Caroline Chassin, Valérie Rivier, Caroline Péragut Costamagno
• Gaëtan Marron for his artistic work
• The Ville de Marseille and its inhabitants for their welcome
• All BMSFrance employees for their mobilization”
