“At the ‘Beyond Cancer’ event, which we organized as part of the World Patient Week in our company, the work of the first Cancer Survivors Clinic at Attica Hospital was presented, the standardization study funded by BMS through Ernst and Young and the alliance with the Ministry of Health, NKUA Medical School and Hellenic Cancer Federation | ELLOK for their nationwide expansion.

The Minister of Health, Adonis Georgiadis, confirmed the State’s commitment to legislate and operate Cancer Survivors’ Clinics throughout the country, while the event was attended by Professor of Oncology Amanda Psyrri, Doctor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Kalliopi Kalaitzi and President of ELLOK Giorgos Kapetanakis.

As the General Manager of BMS Greece, Elisavet Prodromou, pointed out: ‘The Cancer Survivors Clinic is not just a modern model of care. It is the realization of a promise to every person who has fought the battle of cancer to return to a quality life with better health.'”
