Brian Pico: The Challenge is No Longer Whether We Have Options, But How We Tailor Them

Brian Pico, Medical Director, Solid Tumor Cellular Therapy Hematologist, Oncologist at Memorial Healthcare System and Memorial Cancer Institute, shared a post on LinkedIn:

“Honored to have presented at the Winter Cancer Symposium 2026 in Puerto Rico on personalizing therapies in prostate cancer.

As treatment options in oncology continue to rapidly expand – from molecularly targeted therapies to immunotherapy and radioligand approaches – the challenge is no longer whether we have options, but how we tailor them to the right patient at the right time.

My talk focused on integrating clinical risk stratification, genomic profiling, patient characteristics, and evolving trial data to individualize care and improve outcomes for our patients with prostate cancer.

Grateful for the opportunity to engage with colleagues who are equally committed to advancing precision oncology and reducing disparities in cancer care.”
