“I’ve heard it said that biotech years are like dog years, with an enormous amount of progress packed into a few short years. Even by that standard, it’s been an amazing, extraordinary run at Relay Therapeutics these past 3.5 years.
Just a few highlights in that time. We developed two FDA Breakthrough Designated drugs:
- lirafugratinib for patients with FGFR2-altered cholangiocarcinoma (PDUFA this month!),
- zovegalisib for patients with HR+/HER2-, PIK3CA-mutant breast cancer.
We achieved proof of concept for zovegalisib in PIK3CA-driven vascular malformations, (including in pediatric patients!), and put RLY-8161 into the clinic for NRAS-mutant solid tumors.
Thank you to all my fellow Relayers for making the past 3.5 years an incredible, unforgettable journey. It’s bittersweet to say bye, but I’ll be rooting from the sidelines and I can’t wait to see what this team does next!
