The Breast Cancer Research Foundation shared a post on LinkedIn:
“A major shift in breast cancer prevention is here.
New guidelines from the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) now include AI-powered imaging that can predict a woman’s breast cancer risk-using a routine mammogram and starting as early as age 35.
This marks a move from detection to prediction: helping identify risk earlier, personalize screening, and potentially prevent breast cancer before it starts.
This is precision prevention in action-and it’s only made possible through research.
