City Cancer Challenge (C/Can) shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Through our partnership with WHO on the Global Breast Cancer Initiative (GBCI), C/Can supports cities such as Cali, Phnom Penh, Tbilisi and Kumasi to turn global commitments into locally owned Breast Cancer Action Plans.
Together with national and city stakeholders, we identify the barriers women face across early detection, diagnosis and treatment and co-create practical solutions to strengthen breast cancer systems and improve equitable care.
This is how global ambition becomes implementation.
Women and Health. Global Strength.
We thank our private sector partners, Amgen, AstraZeneca, Bristol Myers Squibb, and MSD, for their support to the GBCI Implementation partnership. Together, we assist cities and countries in improving breast cancer outcomes globally.”
