“Tomorrow, 22 March, we’re kicking off another edition of the European Society for Radiotherapy and Oncology (ESTRO) Comprehensive and Practical Brachytherapy Course in Ljubljana – one of my favorite places.
I’m especially excited about this year’s edition. We’ve redesigned the course to welcome more participants while making it even more interactive. With several lectures now available online beforehand, we can really dive deeper into discussion, exchange experiences, and learn from each other during the course itself.
We’ve also expanded the number of case discussions and added hands-on practical sessions. From treatment planning to quality assurance of plans and after loaders, the focus is very much on learning by doing and active participation.
It’s a privilege to work with such a highly experienced and passionate faculty, and I’m really looking forward to the energy, discussions, and collaboration over the next few days.
